Overview How scalable is Windows 2000 Datacenter Server and Microsoft SQL Server 2000? This webcast describes Microsoft’s own SQL Server 2000-based customer relation system for its 150 million customers. This system can load over 2 million customer records each day into the master database running on a 32-way ES7000 from Unisys, and distribute this data to systems running on 8-way computers. Encompassing 550 hard drives, and nearly 3 terabytes of customer-related data in SAN storage, this system demonstrates the scalability of Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and the Unisys platform in both a scale-up and scale-out architecture.
