Macromedia Case Study: Invisible Ideas

Overview Located in Boston, the Nature and Inquiry artists group includes five men and women that embrace scientific principles as the foundation of their work. When the opportunity arose to participate in Boston's Cyberarts Festival 2003, the Nature and Inquiry group decided to collaborate on a project that would explore the relationship between ideas, landscape, and technology. The Nature and Inquiry artists group selected Macromedia Flash. The beauty of Macromedia Flash is that it is versatile enough to support this kind of experimentation, yet it is not just bells and whistles. The group's recent project, "Invisible Ideas", examines the relationship between ideas, technology, and interior and exterior landscapes.
