Macromedia Case Study: Youth Hostel Association of Australia

Overview Youth Hostel Association of Australia wanted to augment its website with an interactive application that would allow visitors to plan personalized travel itineraries, including destinations, transportation, and activities. The association hoped to increase bookings by seamlessly integrating the application with the online booking system. Red Square originally built the Travel Itinerary using Macromedia Flash 5 and ColdFusion Server 5, but chose to deploy the Macromedia MX family of products, the company's next-generation, integrated suite of tools, server, and client technologies to further enhance the application's user interface and functionality.
