London Stock Exchange: Data-X Foundation Service

Overview In 2000, the London Stock Exchange entered a new era as a public company, which listed on its own market in 2001. Now judged by different criteria, the Exchange needed to deliver a further step-change in its development as a high performance commercial enterprise. As part of this change, the Exchange teamed with Accenture to quickly and successfully launch several new services that leverage one of its core competencies - providing real-time and historical information about stock price and movements to such customers as broker dealers, asset managers and hedge funds.
