Virtual Double: Envisioning a World of Virtual Doubles

Overview Imagine having a virtual body double that enables shoppers to order personal clothing items online with the confidence that they will fit and look good. A team from Accenture Technology Labs helped client My Virtual Model design such a system that lets customers sees and try clothes on their virtual body double. To demonstrate how new and emerging technologies will make this vision a reality, researchers at Accenture Technology Labs are developing a series of prototypes. It shows how a virtual fleet truck double can alert managers to a host of important, useful information such as location, available cargo space and mechanical issues.
