DenizBank Grows With Redundant 3Com Network Based on Switch 7700

Overview To achieve the goal of establishing a presence throughout Europe, the DenizBank needed a more robust, reliable data infrastructure in its Istanbul headquarters. Its legacy network was already near capacity and lacked the bandwidth to accommodate the bank's planned expansion. DenizBank chose a solution including the Com products comprising of Switch 7700, 3Com XRN, 3Com Switch 40x0 Family etc. The new network is based on two dual homed Switch 7700 switches, which form a fully redundant Gigabit Ethernet core in the bank's data center. Scaled to handle speeds from 1 megabits per second (Mbps) to 1 gigabit, the 10-gigabit ready switch provides all the scalability the bank needs to support its 30 branch-per-year growth.
