Crowley Independent School District’s Network Security in a Class by Itself
Overview Crowley Independent School District in north central Texas, faced the monumental task of securing more than 3,000 computers used in 13 school locations throughout district. With students constantly surfing the Internet, school was charged with protecting the District’s network from viruses, malicious content, and unwanted spam emails. eSafe Gateway and eSafe Mail provided the Crowley Independent School District with a comprehensive suite of content security solutions for proactive protection of its network from all forms of malicious content including viruses, vandals, and worms. Evaluation of eSafe Gateway and eSafe Mail by the District revealed that eSafe prevented a number of viruses from the Web that were not caught by the previously installed anti-virus software.
