Sunbelt Case Study: Bastian Material Handling

Overview Bastian Material Handling (BMH), an Indianapolis-based systems integrator, has developed material-handling systems and equipment for industry since 1952. A sister company to ASAP Automation, a warehouse management software company, and Blue Arc Engineering, a custom fabricator, BMH maintains a number of branch offices in the Midwest and West Coast. A single Exchange 2000 server in the Indianapolis corporate headquarters provides email for about 110 employees of all BMH, ASAP, and Blue Arc offices over a wide area network. For some time, BMH has been coping with a spam problem that has become more urgent. Realizing they needed a solution on the server level to minimize administrative headaches, they decided to try Sunbelt’s iHateSpam Server.
