Northeast Medical Center Uses iPAQ Pocket PC to Accelerate Care for Heart Attack Victims

Overview NorthEast Medical Center wanted to accelerate "door-to-dilation" time for heart attack victims and enable physicians and medical staff to efficiently deliver high-quality medical care. The HP Pocket PC was chosen after tests of several other Pocket PCs. NorthEast Medical Center was benefited with rapid care for heart attack victims and national door-to-dilation benchmark of 27 minutes. Their physicians and medical staff was enabled to provide quality care more efficiently, it also reduced IT staff time required for hardware maintenance, due to equipment standardization and reliable HP equipment.
