MSDN Webcast: Microsoft .NET Framework Runtime Optimization - Level 400
Overview The .NET Runtime is designed to be self-configuring and self-optimizing, eliminating the need for developers and system administrators to spend valuable time dealing with software issues rather than solving business problems. In some situations, taking manual control of the Runtime to achieve the highest level of performance is required, and the CLR has a wide range of optimization options available that can be leveraged from both managed code and the runtime host. This webcast will explore techniques that can be employed to optimize both the CLR and Framework libraries, and provide a brief look at the new options available in the Whidbey release of the Framework.
