High School Students Learn Workplace Skills With Palm Handhelds
Overview The Desert View High School, Tucson wanted to provide a team of its students engaged in a school-to-work program with an efficient way to manage jobs, equipment, personnel and to help them to share information and communicate easily. Palm handheld computers, Palm Portable Keyboard were used along with many applications. This streamlined administrative tasks for a student-run business and helped the students to stay organized personally and as well as a team. It also provided the students with an easy way to communicate and share information and develop "real-world" skills.
