palmOne Case Study: UC Berkeley School of Education

Overview The UC Berkeley School of Education wanted to help K-12 students grasp the complex scientific concepts through the integration of Palm handhelds and the WISE (Web based Inquiry Science Environment) project. They utilized Palm handheld computers, Vernier probes, and Palm applications. This offered the students mobile data gathering tool and allowed for new types of curricular activities. It also helped the students understand difficult science concepts.
