Implementing QoS for IPv6 for Cisco IOS

Overview This paper provides guidelines for implementing Quality of Service (QoS) features in IPv6 environments, specifically the application of the Differentiated Services (DiffServ) QoS features to IPv6 packets. QoS features supported for IPv6 environments include packet classification, traffic shaping, traffic policing, packet marking, queuing, and Weighted Random Early Detection (WRED)-based drop on all applicable interfaces.
