JXTA Technology: Creating Connected Communities

Overview P2P computing, and, specifically, JXTA technology, bring distributed devices, services, and networks together. Based on open standards, JXTA technology enables diverse devices and networks to seamlessly interoperate, and provides flexibility, as applications are not locked to a proprietary system. By taking the complexity out of the network and operating environments and providing a complete infrastructure, JXTA technology enables developers to more quickly and easily create P2P services. This paper introduces the JXTA technology.
