Network Analysis in the Distributed Enterprise

Overview This paper describes several solutions to cost-effectively manage distributed enterprise networks with the WildPackets Ethernet and 802.11 expert network analyzers, remote engines, and remote capture tools. Omni3 is a new architecture from WildPackets that includes all of the components necessary for managing the Next Generation Distributed Analysis System. WildPackets also offers a variety of network tools that allow network managers to analyze remote segments of LANs and WLANs from their desktop EtherPeek or AiroPeek programs.
