Overview This paper is intended as an informational guide to the accessibility technologies available in Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Windows XP. It can be used as a companion to the Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 VPATs (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) available from Microsoft. This paper explains in detail how many of the features described in the VPATs can be used and implemented. It also offers useful advice based on Microsoft's experiences in the accessibility field. By using the VPAT and this paper as guide, user can take the first steps to creating an effective accessibility strategy for an organization.
