Match Criteria Terminology Explained

Overview The purpose of this paper is to explain the terminology of Match Criteria in the Symbol WS 5000 Wireless Switch. Classifiers enable the WS 5000 Wireless Switch to filter network traffic using various criteria, e.g. source/destination MAC address, VLAN ID, etc. For example, a user may create a network policy to deny incoming ICMP Ping traffic. To do this, the user can simply select 'Protocol' for Criteria and select 'ICMP' for its value. This paper gives a brief explanation of each match criteria.
