Novell Net Services Software Keeps National Museum of Australia’s Network Secure and Operational
Overview The spectacular National Museum of Australia in Canberra is one of the Prime Minister’s Centenary of Federation Projects. Some 300,000 visitors have come to the Museum in person during the first three months and more than 3 million have dropped in at the Web site - all expecting the technology to perform perfectly. Managing all these exhibits and the computer network behind them is integral to keeping the museum functional. This means providing the latest software, e-mail and access privileges to 330 staff at five sites that collaborate and communicate with each other daily. Open Integration (Services) Pty Limited has deployed a range of Novell solutions to solve the key technology challenges faced by the Museum.
