Overview Fuji Photo Film Co. leads the world in the creation of "the culture of images and information." As part of that process, the company aims for "the right people at the right time, able to acquire the newest data in the right format." By supporting key systems with SAP R/3, together with SAP BW, Fujifilm has been able to provide such business intelligence environments. However, with increased amounts of data, intensive data processing, system stability issues, and so forth, there were some obstacles. Fujifilm decided to restructure its system infrastructure using Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Through increased stability and improved response, greater usability has been realized for end users who support Fuji Photo Film with speedy strategic planning and decision making.
