Women in Cable & Telecommunications Makes the Right Call with CRM

Overview Upon becoming executive director of Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT) in early 2003, Diane James, CAE, quickly discovered her organization had a problem. The membership association's technology was, in her words, "inadequate and outdated." Critical information about members, dues paid, finances, and more was widely dispersed across myriad databases. That made it difficult to access and, worse, prevented WICT from tracking and understanding members' level of activity with the group - which is vital to the continued success of any membership organization. Working with Microsoft Business Solutions partner PROTECH Associates, Inc., WICT implemented Microsoft Business Solutions CRM and PROTECH CRM for Members, running on the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2000 operating system.
