Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) Launches Operations from the Ground up In a Record Nine Months
Overview Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), India's first multi-commodity, online exchange launched its operations in November 2003. Its Technology Partner, Financial Technologies (India) Ltd. (FTIL) delivered a comprehensive Exchange Technology Framework to support the Exchange operations, which it did so in a record nine months. The Exchange Technology Framework from FTIL, uses the Microsoft .NET Framework, an integral Windows component that supports building and running the next generation of applications and Web services, development environment and a range of other Microsoft enterprise software. The result is an industry-leading, mission-critical trading platform that offers a low cost of entry for trading members, 99.99 per cent availability and seamless integration supporting Pre-Trade, Trade and Post Trade data flow.
