Overview Founded in 1952 and headquartered in Madrid, Spain, Grupo Ferrovial S.A. (Ferrovial) is Europe’s second largest construction company in terms of market capitalization. As part of a drive to increase profitability, Ferrovial needed to focus on cost-control and efficiency across its entire business. This was difficult to achieve with its existing IT infrastructure, which consisted of multiple independent applications and numerous cross-application interfaces. The cost of maintaining these systems was high, and the technology was no longer able to meet Ferrovial’s business needs.
