in4U AG Takes Outsourcing to a New Level with IBM

Overview Originally one of five worldwide IT centers for the Volvo Group, in4U AG, is a Swiss company that provides information technology services in the areas of outsourcing, hosting, ASP and network solutions. When a major customer Finetool, a global leader in fine tool blanking – needed an outsourced ERP system, it asked in4U AG to implement a complete solution, from servers through to storage. After examining an offer from Compaq, in4U AG turned to IBM Global Services for an equivalent solution, and chose IBM eServer xSeries servers and IBM TotalStorage.
