Overview Kern AG since it was founded in 1947 it operates internationally; the company has been developing, producing and marketing rapid document inserting systems and devices for post-processing of computer forms and also provides services in the areas of information distribution, document management and mail production. In order to become even more effective in the future, the company redefined its business processes and began to reorganize its IT environment in 1997, which was distributed across ten locations. When considering the implementation of an ERP solution, SAP was the system of choice to accomplish the transition from numerous existing applications at Kern AG to a centralized IT solution.
