Online Wine - Allied Domecq Uncorks New Web Site in an Effort to Get Closer to Its Customers
Overview Allied Domecq does not consider itself a high-tech wizard because winemaking is a very time-intensive and fairly low-tech process. Allied Domecq wanted a very user-friendly tool that could be updated quickly and easily. That led it to choose Lotus Domino and Domino Designer R5 as its Web server platform and integrated development environment. The key issues they had were having tools that worked well together, and Domino had all the tools in one. All of a sudden they had a development tool, the Web server, and database access in one piece here.
