Overview Beiersdorf AG Beiersdorf's success is based on intensive research and development work, a research and development outfit like Beiersdorf also needs easy access to product data using powerful and flexible search capabilities. However, most of the division’s data was only available as documents, and only selected items were entered as keywords. As a result, it was hard to find specific technical data. To solve this Beiersdorf opted to implement mySAP Product Lifecycle Management (mySAP PLM). The new system now contains 30,000 data records, including documents, material masters, and bills-of-materials, and it is used by 270 employees at two Beiersdorf sites.
