Cellular South Rings Up Success with PRIMEPOWER Servers
Overview Since 15 years Cellular South has grown from being the first wireless provider in most of Mississippi to become one of the US's largest privately held wireless companies. They contacted Fujitsu when it began plans to upgrade servers in the Cellular South data center. A big challenge in the Cellular South data center was to allow the company to upgrade its technology infrastructure on Solaris. There was also a need to integrate different platforms, storage, and other equipment efficiently. To achieve this company chose several PRIMEPOWER servers to handle the many business operations conducted by the company.
