HP OpenCall Media Platform Enables Next Generation Networks

Overview SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is becoming widely accepted as a fundamental component of next generation networks. One proof point is the adoption of SIP in the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 5 standard for the UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) core network.
