Controlling a CompactFlash+ Slot
Overview This is a white Paper about designing an interface to support a Compact Flash+ (CF) socket. In designing an interface to support a CompactFlash+ (CF) socket, there are two major design concerns namely; POWER and HOT-PLUGGING. To support CF or CF+ specifications, maximum current of 100mA must be available during the Power On Reset (POR) and Request sequences. This permits specific commands to be executed by the host to verify that it has enough power for the device. All this and more specifications are explained in this white paper.
