Overview This paper describes the best practices to set up and configure Oracle9i RAC on Windows 2000 AS with a NetApp filer using Fibre Channel SAN. The Network Appliance FCP (Fibre Channel Protocol) Attach Kit for Windows will be used as the initiator on hosts running Windows 2000 AS. This paper will cover the hardware and software requirements for this Oracle9i RAC solution. It will also address the preinstallation setup tasks on the NetApp filer and the Windows server.
