Serial and Remote Execution of CLI Commands for Blades Management

Overview The Embedded Remote Access (ERA/MC) version 1.0 on the Dell PowerEdge 1655MC provides a serial remote command line interface (CLI) that facilitates fast, powerful and easy configuration of the PowerEdge 1655MC chassis and blade servers. This paper provides a summary on how the RACDAM utility (remote access control and administration) interacts with the Embedded Remote Access module. This module includes a serial and LAN interface that helps to monitor and configure the server.
