Overview The Microsoft Windows Telephony Applications Programming Interface (TAPI) -- included with Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Windows 95 , and Windows CE and available for Windows 3.1 -- is a platform for developing and using computer telephony applications. The release of TAPI version 2.1 adds more comprehensive support for client-server telephony solutions.
