Providing a Blueprint for Future Supplier Parks: Accenture and Ford

Overview Ford had a vision for a new industrial park in Valencia, Spain, to serve its car production lines and asked Accenture to work with it to create a master plan to make the vision a reality. The park set out to establish a win win for both Ford and its suppliers. For the company it would ensure just-in-time manufacturing, and for suppliers the incentive of gaining longer-term supplier contracts if the relationship proved successful.
