Enabling HP MSA1000 Boot from SAN for Red Hat Enterprise Linux on HP ProLiant BL20p G2 Blade Servers

Overview This white paper describes the concepts and steps necessary to install, configure, and boot the Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES operating system on the HP ProLiant BL20p G2 server using the HP StorageWorks Modular SAN Array 1000 (MSA1000) in a single path configuration. These concepts and methodologies can be successfully applied to similar scenarios using the HP ProLiant ML or DL servers.
