Boot Loader Models for Microsoft Windows CE Platform Builder 3.0

Overview A boot loader resides on the target device and manages the boot process. You can also use the boot loader to download code, such as a Microsoft Windows CE operating system (OS) image, from the development workstation to the target device. Once the OS is loaded, you can use the boot loader to monitor and debug the target device. Because the boot loader is used only for development, you do not need to include it with your Windows CE platform. This paper describes CEPC boot loader models, such as Loadcepc.exe and alternative loaders, and contains code for a sample boot loader for use with Microsoft Windows CE Platform Builder 3.0.
