HP OpenView Storage Data Protector: Change of SCSI Addresses in SAN Environments

Overview The addressing space in the SAN environment is very dynamic. New devices can be added to the environment, and old devices can be disconnected. This can change the SCSI address of an existing (working) device, which causes the device to fail. This white paper addresses the issue of changed SCSI addresses in SAN environments.
