They needed to consolidate its 45 NT servers and provide a more stable environment for both messaging and application services for its 2500 users, without investing heavily in PC upgrades in remote office locations. By utilizing the reliability of Lotus Domino on AS/400 and becoming the first Fortune 1000 company to run completely thin client, ABM has standardized its applications, eliminated LAN and workgroup servers and saved millions of dollars in PC upgrades by utilizing a centralized server farm.
