Overview Through this project DCCI wanted to arrive at an online multilingual and personalized portal that integrates multiple data sources and provides advanced services to chamber members and visitors - all managed through an extranet solution. It wanted to integrate its existing server and the membership databases into the new e-commerce platform and provide a variety of online services to users. With Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, these challenges were met well ahead of the 18-month deadline set by the Dubai E-Government Committee.
