Subscribers can now access information about all cricket matches recorded since 1872 as well as stories filed by journalists in real time about major worldwide matches. The solution has been built using Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 with Analysis Services. The servers are part of the Microsoft .NET platform, which uses XML Web services to enable applications to communicate and share data over the Internet, regardless of operating system or programming language.
