IBM eServer pSeries Planning Guide for Capacity Upgrade on Demand

Overview This white paper contains information to assist in ordering the Capacity Upgrade on Demand (CUoD) feature on a new or installed IBM eserver pSeries 680, IBM eserver pSeries 660 Model 6M1 or an IBM RS/6000 Model S80. It also contains system prerequisites for the CUoD feature. The Capacity Upgrade on Demand feature allows a new system to be ordered with extra capacity that can be enabled by the system administrator. Also, if a system that is already in use requires additional capacity, it can be upgraded with additional capacity that can be enabled anytime.
