Overview The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) maintains a Criminal Justice Information System that is accessed by law enforcement agencies, courts and other organizations throughout the state of Kansas. KBI had to comply with strict security and auditing requirements mandated by state and federal legislation. The bureau’s strategy to use best-of-breed security solutions end-to-end proved to be a successful one.
