Overview A start-up company based in the US had an idea of delivering digital video content to viewers’ television sets over a broadband connection but did not possess the capabilities to execute. They looked at Wipro who possessed the requisite expertise in system software provided them with the an IP based service that completely emulated the end-to-end video rental and sales process by securely and efficiently delivering “Video On Demand” – digital video content on television sets over a broadband network. The 6-member Wipro team took the project as a challenge and executed it successfully. They developed the Set-Top Box solution to support Net-Movies services.
