Overview A fast DVB compatible receiver needed a complete software stack - from device drivers to applications embedded in the satellite receiver card. The platform chosen was Linux. Wipro’s rich experience in embedded Linux & other platform technologies was the key to the problem. The primary challenge for Wipro team was that there was a fair bit of customization of Linux needed to ensure that it would fit in the Router with a small flash disk and memory capacity. The Wipro team demonstrated extraordinary skills in designing, developing and implementing the technology within a very narrow timeframe, taking care of the hardware constraints.
