Overview This white paper presents an overview of the Compaq Linux and Tru64 UNIX Affinity Program, a key component of Compaq's overall Linux strategy. Affinity means Support for heterogeneous environments where Tru64 UNIX and Linux systems interoperate and are managed seamlessly. Affinity also means the ability to develop applications on Linux and move them to Tru64 UNIX, and vice-versa. Affinity is to having tools that create a consistent look and feel between Linux and Tru64 UNIX.
