Matsuyama University Uses Top Layer’s Secure Edge Controller for Network User Authentication
Overview Located near the heart of Matsuyama City in Ehime Prefecture, Matsuyama University brought in Top Layer Networks to install Secure Edge Controller, a network user authentication solution, and Top Layer’s detailed session data logging system solution. The successful installation of these two technologies provided an advanced information service for University students and faculty, without increasing the network management burden for network management staff. Top Layer discussed the process and effectiveness of the installation, as well as the future outlook for the campus network with Mr. Koichi Yamauchi, Director of the Office of Academic Affairs Department of Information Technology Education, and the driving force behind the re-engineering of the campus network.
