Trimble’s TDS/At Work Computers division took advantage of built-in Bluetooth support, design templates in the Platform Wizard, and the Board Support Package provided by Windows CE .NET to build the operating system image in six months. The speed of development and built-in capabilities offered by the operating system gave Trimble a competitive edge by enabling it to be the first to get a Bluetooth wireless surveying solution to market.
