Overview Siemens ICM offers a complete range of mobile solutions, including mobile devices, infrastructure, and applications. Siemens Information and Communication Mobile (ICM) chose to build its next-generation SIMpad mobile device on Windows CE .NET for the operating system's broad wireless support, new tool features that enable rapid development, and the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework technology preview. The rich functionality included with the operating system, as well as the integrated development tool set, reduced development time and costs and gave Siemens a competitive edge in time to market and product functionality.
