Overview Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman is a nationwide commercial law firm with 600 attorneys. The firm wanted an enhanced mobile messaging solution that would help it curb rising IT costs, enhance its client service when its attorneys were off-site, and support its rapidly growing staff. To meet those goals, the firm is migrating to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 with Outlook Web Access running on the Windows Server 2003 operating system and Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. Users will gain a wide range of mobility options, including Outlook Web Access and easy, secure remote connections from their laptops; offline access to mailboxes and e-mail that is continually synchronized to Pocket PCs powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs. The firm expects to increase its overall productivity and to reduce its projected IT messaging costs by more than U.S.$500,000.
