MIMEsweeper makes Email System Mission Critical Application for DB Breweries
Overview On 30 October 2000, DB Breweries was hit by the VBS/LoveLetter virus. In less than five minutes, over 5,000 files across five servers at three different sites were destroyed. As a result of the virus attack, DB Breweries reevaluated its stance on content filtering software. Initially they adopted a content filtering system for anti-virus scanning, but MIMEsweeper helped them realize they had no appropriate policies in place to combat a range of other content security threats.
