Overview Cinergy Corp. (NYSE:CIN), one of the leading diversified energy companies in the U.S., created a corporate portal using Plumtree software. For Cinergy, tracking intranet usage meant analyzing dynamic URLs served by their Plumtree portal server. The true insight into what intranet users were looking at was in the query string parameters. NetTracker contains the functionality to not only parse the parameters out of URLs, but to look up the parameters in a database and automatically replace content ID numbers within NetTracker reports with meaningful descriptions of the content that has been viewed by Cinergy's intranet users.
